Typical Move-In Costs for Operation Red Dot Properties
Move in costs on a normal application approval:
  • 1st month’s rent (If moving in after the 10th of the month, we require prorated rent for that month plus the next month’s rent.)
  • Refundable Security deposit (Equal to 1x the rent. Discounted security deposit for Active Duty Military)
  • Refundable Pet Deposit (Generally $300 for up to 2 pets)
  • Non-refundable Pet Cleaning Fee ($300 for up to 2 pets)
  • (optional) If tenant is using Red Dot provided landlord Liability Insurance, $15 is added to the first month’s rent
How move in costs may change if you need to mitigate the risk of lower credit, or other screening report issues:
  • Double Security Deposit
  • Higher Rent (Capped at $100/mo. extra)
