I bring over 13 years of experience in operations and financial management to the team. My background includes overseeing $3 million in operating revenue, reducing overhead expenses by 30%, and managing complex projects to ensure profitability. Proficient in handling accounts payable and receivable, contract negotiation, and project decision-making, I utilize my expertise in software programs like QuickBooks and AppFolio to ensure efficient financial operations. With a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management, I am dedicated to contributing to the continued growth and success of Operation: Red Dot.
When I'm not working, you'll likely find me lost in a thrilling novel, trying to keep up with the twists and turns. I also enjoy taking my two furry companions, Honey and Diamond, to the park, where they can chase their tails and I can get some fresh air. And, of course, there's nothing quite like spending time in my garden, where I pretend to have a green thumb and hope the plants agree. As an active-duty spouse and mother of two boys (one being active-duty Army), I understand the intricacies involved with constant change and have learned to instinctively adapt.
As the Accounting Clerk at Operation: Red Dot, I handle a variety of essential financial tasks to ensure the company's smooth operations. My responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records. I am also involved in preparing monthly P&L financial reports, assisting with budget forecasting, and ensuring compliance with state and federal financial regulations. Additionally, I support the team by handling invoicing, bill payments, and contributing to the development of best practices for our accounting processes. My role is crucial in maintaining the financial health and integrity of Operation: Red Dot, allowing us to continue providing exceptional service to our clients.
